What is Mendamine 25?

Mendamine 25 is a joint supplement from BP Labs. It claims to have “25 ingredients essential to joint health.”

Other Features

Mendamine 25 was one of the more comprehensive supplements we examined and had 8/9 of the ingredients we were looking for.

It has the combination of glucosamine HCl with chondroitin sulfate which is in most joint supplements. It also has manganese, ascorbic acid,  3mg of  boron, MSM,  Hyaluronic acid,  and 500mg of cetyl myristoleate.

To reduce inflammation, it has 250mg of 5-LOXIN, a patented extract of Boswellia serrata which has powerful anti-inflammatoryqualities. It also has 100mg of soy phytosterols which are a component Avocado Soy Unsaponifiables, a compound prescribed in France for osteoarthritis.

Unfortunately, it does not have the powerful inflammation reducer curcumin.

Artificial Dyes or Coloring

Mendamine 25 has no dyes or artificial coloring we are aware of.

Conclusion:

4.5 stars out of 5.

Glucosamine Uses 1200mg of glucosamine HCl. Glucosamine is a precursor to glycosaminoglycans which are a major component of joint cartilage.

Chondroitin Sulfate Has 1000mg of chondroitin sulfate, more than most other supplements. Chondroitin makes up glycosaminoglycans which are a component of cartilage.

Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO) Also has 500mg of CMO. Cetyl myristoleate is a compound found in the joints of arthritis-resistant mice.

  • Have you ever tested Liquid Joint Care, sold at SAMS

    Thank you

  • Shari Collins

I love your reviews on the joint products. I would like to know if you ever reviewed Irwin Naturals 3 in 1 Joint Formula. Please email me with a response.

  • My husband called and told me about a product he saw on TV called Supple for joint pain and discomfort. If you have any information on this product, could you please e-mail.

    Thank You Very Much,
    Leanne

  • Carol

Thank you for the reviews you offer. I would also be interested in knowing the type of pill, eg. soft gel, have a size chart available, and approximate retail price. It would also be nice if you indicated the recommended number of pills per day for each manufacturer.

Do you ever randomly take a sample from bottles and have them evaluated for what’s really in them? Since the supplement industry is unregulated, they can say just about anything.

I just recently got duped by Instaflex. I ordered their Free Trial, a 14 day supply, with a $4.99 shipping/handling charge. In the tiny, tiny print after you’ve given them your credit card number, it says that if I don’t call before 18 days,(14 day trial + 4 days for shipping), on the 18th day from when you call, they will then begin an monthly auto-ship program at $74.98 a month. Wow! I can’t afford that so I called the number on the bottle and guess what! Yep, it’s a non-working number. Under their terms and conditions, (you have to search for this) it states that refused packages will not be accepted. You are required to obtain an RMA, Return Merchandise Authorization # before returning any product and you get this number by calling the non-working number they provide. Apparently the Instaflex people do this scammy introductory offer with their entire product line, which includes 3 additional Instaflex products, as well as something called Forceflex, and Peak Life, and Lumiday. There are probably more of them that I haven’t found yet. The online reviews from customers are all horrible for scamming, poor customer service, or product not arriving either at all, or taking way too long to arrive. The Instaflex website says they are in Murray, Utah, but they appear to really be out of Cambridge, Mass, and Charlotte, NC. Maybe Utah is where they package it, who knows, since the phone number 1-877-869-3310. Any chance you can offer me some help? There product is outrageously expensive and after what I have been though, I want nothing to do with these slime bags. Since you review their product I thought you would want to know about their unscrupulous business practiced. I’m not the only one who is being taken to the cleaners. Please shoot me an e-mail, maybe you can find a phone number in the phone book. They’re not that far from you, checkout Direct Digital LLC, at 700 Technology SQ., S202, in Cambridge, 02139.

If you paid for these vitamins with your credit card, call your credit card company and file a complaint. Most credit card companies will investigate complaints for up to 6 months after the purchase date. I’ve gotten money back from dishonest sellers this way.

    • Nadine

Hi Carol, I was duped also for Acia and their Coon Cleanse. I called my bank and she suggested to cancel my credit card,or in my case, was a debit card. They were going to charge $200 for each refill! Ouch!
Take heed for all that sign up for free anything, nothing is free, but this is ridiculous. Check out anything before you buy or get a free anything at the BBB first.

    • Susan

I just read your comments and was able to cancel the trial order for Instaflex that I had done 40 minutes ago using the telephone number listed. I told them I had read some negative reviews from previous purchasers and about the ingredients and that secondary to other medications I am on I can not take anything that has an asprin derivative, or in this case they use the bark that asprin is made from. I should remember to do searches before purchasing anything, even trial stuff.

    • Lynn Orange

Call your credit card company and tell them you lost your credit card. They will cancel the card and give you a new number. Then dispute Instaflex charges and ask the credit card company to reverse the charges.

    • Jennifer

Thank You Carol for this Review. It is still relevant today. I was about to apply for the “Free” Supply, but something told me to check any reviews on this product. I am very Glad I did. So thanks Again!

    • Bob

I also missed the auto-enroll information on their trial offer, or I would have not gotten the sample. And I was looking for it, because that is the only real reason for taking the credit card information. When I saw the charge on my credit card, I called the number listed on the credit card statement. They answered quickly, cancelled the program, and offered me a $30 rebate which they paid very quickly to the credit card.

My problem is missing cartilage, not arthritis. Instaflex Advanced has improved my condition noticeably, and I am continuing to take it. The price of $76 for 30 capsules is non-competitive, so I am just buying it elsewhere. With these reviews, I am planning to try Mendamine if the price is right because I also take glucosamine and chondroitin daily, and it has those also.

where can i buy mendamine cmo?

  • Nancy Schwarzmann

Is there a product that includes all of the recommended ingredients, including curcumin?

  • BOB McGOWAN

do you know anything about hyaluronic acid with devils claw?

  • Inder

I have ordered Mendamine CMO from Amazon…bone-on-bone (left knee)…am about 280 lbs…would I need to take more of the supplement because of excess body-weight? Have read (forum at Arthritis Today) that bromelain (from pineapple) relieves pain (which ‘brand’? How many mg.?)…Curcumin (where? which ‘beand’? how many mg.?)…ubiquinol (Kaneka)…hom many mg., please? Quercetin? Bioperine (piperine)…What about Zyflamend? Fish Oils (Omega 3-6-9? Which brand…enteric-coated Tru Nature at Costco? Other supplements that could help, in joints/overall, please? Thanks a ‘ton’ and God bless!

  • Kathleen Degelmann

Hi, I love you reviews…but you don’t mention a cream. I have used both with some success: JointFlex & Livingwell’s Rub On Relief w/ celadrin, MSN, Arnica. Have you ever tested either one of these creams? thanks.

  • Bren

Does the Mendamine CMO 2-in-1 help really bad knees? I am so afraid of having to get knee replacement as I have a phobia about hospitals…when I was 7 I had my Tonsils/Adnoids removed and I woke up during the surgery.
I will try anything that might help me walk better. Thank you for any help

  • Rebecca

Where can I purchase this product?

  • Gloria

Please review “Alleviate” by Intitute for Vibrant Living, IVLproducts.com

  • Harvey Wilson

I tried a bottle and it seemed to work well. The only negative that I can say about it is the number of pills required….I tend to forget the 3 at dinner, and the taste leaves something to be desired. Some kind of coating would eliminate the soapy or metallic taste of the pills.

That said, i will continue to use them.

  • Inocencio

Ineed a liquid to regrow my knee

  • Virgil Hiller

    Where can you buy it???

  • bill

Thank you for your reviews they have been very helpful! I wanted to know if you have ever tested NUTRILITE® Glucosamine 7? I was wondering how that product compared with the rest and if it will be on your next round of reviews, when will that be? I would love some feedback or any additional information on that product. please e-mail me.

    Thank you!

  • Jose Ayala

The Sams product mentioned by Ervin is called Glacial Milk. I have been using this for over a year know and I swear by. A bout a month or so after using Glacial Milk’s Joint Care Supplement, I no longer needing to apply Ice to my knee after jogging. Please do review it and, if possible, contact me to let me know you have reviewed this product.

  • Estelle Shook

I use Glucosamine Sulfate. Does it have the carcinegin? and does it have CMO and is Mendamine CMO recommended as better?

  • missy

i have an alergy to corn and shellfish. does this product contain these items?

  • Please, please, do you have a correct phone # and/or address for the Instaflex item? I just ordered this today and now have read the above comment – and wish to cancel pronto. Hope you can provide info. rb

    • garel

If all else fails, and I would not take the word of anyone from the company that it would be taken care of (assuming you can contact them), I would suggest you cancel your credit card and get new card number.

    • Delena McCurdy

I just got off the phone with them and was assured it was cancelled….we shall see

I have been using Osteo Bi-Flex for 2 month now and found it to do what was advertized. I have also reviewed Consumer Reports which rated this product very high. Insta Flex was rated as the top product. I am in the process of refilling my product now and thought I would try Insta Flex; but it seems expensive compared to Osteo BiFlex (2 pills/day). I am hesitant to switch to something else: but your comment about the carcinogenic cancerous titanium dioxide has me concerned. If this Mendamine CMO is reasonably priced I may try it.

  • Bladon Cohen

Have you ever reviewed Super Cissus?

  • Laurie

    Have you also test SUPPLE?

  • Barb

Does the Mendamine CMO 2-in-1 have Ingredients that a person
with adverse reactions against shellfish should be aware of? I have to take MRI’s because of reaction to iodine. If so what can you recommend for knee inflammation. I work out 6 days a week two days weights and 5 days zumba…..currently tskin broelamin and turmetic combination

  • bettino

why is this product not available in convenient stores?

  • Brenda Riggins

You refer to the massive doses (8tablets) needed of some products. As I looked closely at the Mendamine CMO review, it looks like you have to take 6 tablets to get the needed amounts of supplements. I would consider this massive dosage also, do you have some vested interest in promoting the Mendamine?

  • Gladys Newton

Are you familiar with Flexicose? It is a liquid. Tastes awful but I mix it with a couple ounces of orange juice. Does seem to work better than many I have tried. Would love to see a review of it.

  • Greg

    Have you reviewed Arthri D?

  • JR Whitley

I’ve had two ACL surgeries (40% ea.) Left knee has not had much of a problem but the right one gives me quite a bit of trouble and swells easily when I work out. I’m not opposed to supplements at all with the exception of taking so many per day (as in this case) however, I’m wondering if this is the most effective relief for my situation or should I dig deeper? Surgeon said that the right knee results were more typical, hmmm…if that were the case perhaps I should’ve left them alone altogether

  • Theresa Sampson

I broke my ankle several years ago. I now have arthritis in the joint due to the break. Recently I had surgery to remove bone spurs and a heel extension to help with range of motion. I am wondering if this product will help with the arthritis and healing from the sugery.

  • Brook

    does the mendamine contain shellfish?

  • Patti Withers

Pure has a joint supplement have you tested it? Just wondering how it compares as well.

  • Ken

Thank you for the informative site. I’ve spent about 2 hours reading to educate myself. I would like to see you give recommended dosages (min and max) with your list of 9 essentials. I read all of the related articles and studies and made notes of the ones that listed the dosages used, but assume that a mix of ingredients may vary.

It appears that the easy conclusion would be to get your top pick and add curcumin, but does the top pick contain enough of each essential? If you would list the range of dosage for each and some recommended sources for them as individual supplements, it would give us a broader range of choices.

I’ve been taking Move Free Advanced (Chon & Gluc – not MSM) with good results – better than a previous well rated Chon & Gluc alone, I assume b/c of the Hyaluronic Acid, but I’m now concerned about the titanium dioxide that you list as cancerous.

I was looking for a curcumin/tumeric supplement before researching your site, but it appears that the additional essentials that you list would be beneficial.

In short, your research and breakdown on what products are out there is wonderful and beneficial, but a more precise listing of what we should be taking and how to get it, would be more empowering than waiting for a manufacturer to produce the ‘magic’ combination.

Thank you again for your informative site.

  • Paula

I have a joint formula that contains magnesium, zinc, manganese, glucosamine sulfate potassium, chondroitin sulfate, collagen type 2, gelatin, cetyl myristoleate, red alge, MSM, Turmeric root, holy basil, bromelain, schizandra, ginger, boswellia, serrapeptase and boron listed. Good combination for someone with bone on bone?

    • Mark

Hi, I am interested to know where you have found a product with all of the ingredients you listed in your post. I have done extensive research and there is always at least one of those ingredients missing. Mendamine is the closest one to have the most ingredients, but even it is missing the all-important Tumeric. Please disclose this magic supplement you have found and where to obtain it, and what are the ingredients’ amounts and any research done on it, and the quality controls. I would never advertise something made in my own kitchen, so if it is legit, please share. If it is truly a marketed product, please provide more information. Thank you.

    • Ammie Bowman

Sounds like a good product. What is it called?

  • Ken

I’m almost finished with the bottle of Wellesse Joint Movement Glucosamine that my wife bought home from Sam’s. Unfortunately,as far as I’m concerned, it has not been as advertised. My next Birthday, I’ll be 65, and I still work (physical) everyday. So a joint pain supplement is becoming more important to me each morning I wake up. I appreciate the work that you do. I will try your best recommended product; Mendamine and will purchase it from Amazon.com

    Thank You…Ken

  • Paula Lucas

What about for dogs? Can this be used for dogs as well?

Have you done any reviews on “Joint Advantage Gold”, from Dr. David Williams Alternatives? What do you think of this product?

    Thank you very much.

  • ollie

I’ve been using Mendamine CMO for a month now, and it really healed my pain everyday. It’s so effective for my joint inflamations and pain. Thank God for this product…

  • Yvonne

I greatly appreciate the reviews of this site and look forward to finding one that works well for me, as each of our bodies may respond differently to what we put into it.

I find it interesting tho that Carol’s note, November 17, 2010 at 12:16 pm Re: getting duped by Instaflex has never been replied to. I’d sure like to know why.

I wish wellness and a Happy Spring!

My husband has mild MS and takes a weekly Avonex injection. I take Venlafaxine, Crestor, and Trazodone daily, plus multi, calcium, fish oil, B-complex, Vitamin D3, Biotin, Magnesium, Zinc, and Potassium supplements. Is Mendomine CMO safe to take with these drugs? He is having acute knee pain and I have arthritis and osteoporosis in my lower back, which has lately gotten worse.

I look forward to your response.

  • Diane Giffin

I have a shellfish allergy, is this product free of shellfish?

    Thank you

  • Ray Edmison

I just called Instaflex at 1-877-869-3310 and it was working. I was able to cancel the auto ship and he offered to send me another free bottle to continue the trial for a longer period. He also offered a lower price if that was the reason for cancelling. Guess they know it is over-priced. Sadly, it just did not help – that said though, the price would make more than my joints hurt!

Ive been doin research on various products for joint pain , and inflamation reduction . My mom has a history of osteo and reumatoid arthritis, as well as crohns disease, and hypothyroid. ie been considering trying some products together, however im wondering if there is a toxicity level for glucosamine- each product has approx. 1500MG – is 3000MG too much!! it seems lots of products are supplied synergistically in a propriety blend.
I would like to use anti- inflamatory and pain relieving products, which also contain joint rebuilding components.

I ve been impresed with the results of fish oils- omega-3s, which Id like to include.
I was considering first tring iceland healths joint product relief; do you have any feedback o their products!!!

    Hello:

Over 50, active (martial arts, basket ball, running, etc.) and have some achy felling in my knees that I have simply lived with for a long time, but I don’t suffer from inflammation.

Would Mendamine CMO 2-in-1 be a good joint supplement to try
(since you regard it as the best) or would a lesser brand be more suited since I do not suffer from inflammation?

  • Jeanette

My sister has been suffering for years with no relief from the burning pain thruout her whole body. she is not overweight as a matter of fact she weighs 85lbs. she also has a thyroid issue. will this mendamine work for her and how long does it take to start working?

  • scotty

is there a daily pill that contains curcumin? or a food that contains it?

  • Janet

At first I thought the added calcium for bones would eliminate the need for calcium supplements; however if you take Prilosec or Nexium you need Calcium CITRATE, not Calcium CARBONATE because it needs stomach acid.

  • Paul

I just wanted to know if Mendamine CMO 2-in-1 is good for 80 years old people. what is the side effort might happen?

How can I get a product that has curcumin in it?
    Make a recommendation please.
I will try Mendamine CMO today.

  • FREDERICK GELINEAU

    I will try it.

  • Sherry

Thanks for the reviews, I really enjoy them. I take a product called Flexicose. It is a liquid joint care product and it helps tremendously. The site I order from has really good prices, fast UPS priority shipping with multiple bottles at no extra cost (www.buyflexicose.com – a company called D & D Enterprises). They ship only when you order unless you specifically request auto ship. I take 1/2 ounce a day, which is a double dose since my symptoms were severe. The standard dose after the two weeks startup dose of 1/2 ounce is 1/4 ounce daily. The 1/4 and 1/2 ounce measurement container is incorporated on the same bottle, really convenient. I would appreciate a review on this product.

Was interested in your top recommendation, Mendamine CMO. When I followed the link to Amazon to purchase, I found they were selling Mendamine 25, not Mendamine CMO. What is the difference?

  • Genesis Moreira

I have to say, when mother said, “Gen buy me Mendamine, for my bones and joints.” I gave her a look “again those pills” I do not think it even works, it is all in your head. After the first month she started being active working out, walking in high heels, and cooking; the results were amazing but now since the company do not have Mendamine CMO I do not know what to do.

    So please bring them back….
Give hope to those who needed

  • andrew

I want to try mendamine based on your recomendation, however, I’m a little confused about the product name. Is MendamineTM 25 the same product as Mendamine CMO 2-in-1 which you reccomend? Thanks.

I bank with Chase and do alot of purchases online. Chase has been excellent about getting charges swiftly reversed back into my account without the hassle of me having to deal with cust. svc #s that don’t work, deadend links, etc. when occasionally I’ve dealt with bad apples. They have even called themselves and dealt with the company directly, then gotten charges reversed within a day or two. When a charge first shows up as “pending” on your acct., their phone number shows up too on the same line. Usually that number does work if you or the bank want to call right away. When the trasaction posts, however, that phone number disappears. I keep notes on the transaction so if anything seems fishy I can call my bank with a complete report on my end of what happened. The staff members who deal with general problems of scams, unauthorized withdrawals, etc. then can take direct action.

  • JRM

Reading these comments after signing up for Instaflex 14 day free trial I decided to try to contact them to make sure I did not receive any auto ships. I reached them at 1-877-869-3310 and, although they tried to sell me a months worth extra at half price, they did agree to cancel.

  • Justin

And I was not dissapointed at all, I took 6 pills 3 in the morning , 3 at night , and the next day i had no pain in my right leg when I bent down AMAZING STUFF!!!

***stuff that did not work for me*** I tried the kind you get from costco called Schiff move free advanced , took it for a month and barely helped, so then I went to whole foods and got (Glucosamine and MSM) , tried 1 month+ didnt work so also got (Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate) 1 month didnt work no improvement whatsoever. then mendamine25 1 day and great results . I never write reviews but I want people who have pain in their bodys knees when bending to try this product!
I wish you best of luck everyone as I can now do anything with no pain!

sorry only part of my post showed up

to solve your problem cancel your credit card and get a new one
as long as you make sure the payment won’t follow in your new card
call your bank and ask ,other wise your defeating the purpose
I did it , not with that company though, and never heard from them again

Have you ever tested Nutri-Flex Supreme by Naka.I have used the product and just wondered how it stacks up against the other products you have tested. This is a Canadian Manufactured product.
